Guadalajara
Guadalajara is the second largest city in Mexico, and for many reasons is considered a destination of cultural excellence. It is the birthplace of both mariachi AND tequila, and is also one of the most important industrial and commercial centers in the country. Guadalajara is known as “La Perla de Occidente” or “La Perla Tapatía” – we agree, GDL is a precious pearl in the country’s west.
In Guadalajara’s historic center, you can expect to see beautiful temples, monuments, and squares through which visitors can walk comfortably. Get ready to see a stunning kiosk that represents the four seasons, and architecture that reminds you of “Art Noveau” style.
